So Food Friday’s is taking a turn over to Paris.
I know alot of us will be in Barcelona in the next week or so, and pit stops in Paris may ensue. Here are a couple of must-hit spots for all.
Me and McCarthy have been to Chez Paul a few times with Lee who owns Snobeach in Bastille. I’ve been to France a handful of times, this is by far the most authentic and amazing French food you can get your hands on. Steak Tartare with the fresh bread, the house salad is bananas, and dessert. The desserts are chart topping. Anyway, check it out, it’s right outside the Bastille subway station.

Another one of the fav’s, and all glory goes to Samir and Fred, Favela Chic. It’s one of those places that once you get in there you feel like you’re home. The restaurant is tucked away in a building off the street in an alley with no sign on the door. Community seating, great mojito’s and a small menu with selection of the best Brazilian fare you will ever eat. I suggest staying for the after dinner party as well. It’s right down the block from the Republique subway station in the 11th. Enjoy.
